Phu Yen Motorcycle Adventure: A Biker’s Journey Through Vietnam’s Hidden Gem
Phu Yen has recently gained popularity thanks to breathtaking scenes in the movie Yellow Flowers on the Green Grassand the stunning natural wonder of Ganh Da Dia. As part of my 16-day motorcycle journey from Saigon to Da Nang and back in September 2017, I had the chance to explore Phu Yen—a land of pristine beauty and hidden treasures.
In a previous article, I introduced Bai Mon, but in this blog, I will take you on a thrilling motorcycle route through Phu Yen, leading to Binh Dinh. Along the way, we’ll visit must-see attractions like Ganh Da Dia, Mang Lang Church, and experience local cuisine that makes the journey even more memorable.
The Road to Tuy Hoa - Phu Yen
Our primary stop in Phu Yen was Tuy Hoa City, located about 30 km from Bai Mon via National Highway 29. Though a short ride, the route crosses a stunning mountain pass, where the vast blue sky meets the endless ocean. It’s a sight that every biker will appreciate—a road filled with the freedom of adventure and the beauty of nature.
